Today, Sonia Clayton - President & CEO of VIP-GLOBAL, delivered one of her most iconic speeches during US Silica’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. "The American Dream and Immigration Adaptation." The presentation described Sonia’s journey as an immigrant, her challenges, her failures, and her successes. Mrs. Clayton explained how she founded Virtual Intelligence Providers, LLC. during the aftermath of the 9/11 attack and how she achieved her American Dream. In her speech, she explained what the American dream means to Hispanics. "It means the freedom of thought, religion, and faith we don’t have in our homelands. It represents refuge from war, violence, and persecution. The pursuit of better opportunities, happiness and a better future for our families and children. The United States offers us all of that and more. It also gives us the challenge to create our own meaningful life while enjoying the comfort, economic stability, and educational opportunities that only America provides." She then closed her remarks with a quote from President Kennedy: "Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country."
