VIP Present at LSC’s Energy & Manufacturing Institute Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
HOUSTON – A visionary, complementary goal, and milestone, has been achieved this week by Lone Star College with the formal ribbon cutting ceremony of the LSC’s Energy & Manufacturing Institute—or EMI—facility.
Virtual Intelligence Providers (VIP) was present yesterday, May 14th, for such momentous occasion in the person of our CEO, Sonia Clayton. For VIP, it represents one huge opportunity to make its professional and business technology contributions to the EMI and its matrix: the LSC Alliance. We are now doubly committed to promoting this very special extension of LSC’s educational services, Clayton noted.
The EMI new physical facility is a state-of-the-art space, all together devoted to the formation of the high-caliber, technology specialists so much needed, and coveted, in both the Manufacturing and Energy sectors of our day. LSC’s officially declared the EMI to be: a hub for businesses with workers currently developing or seeking a career in the oil and gas, alternative energy, or mechanized (automated) production industries. Lone Star College is now capable of providing your organization with the thorough hands-on, technical training needed for developing the workforce of the future. The one below is a list of some of new building’s impressive features:
- 2 Story Building
- 70,000 Sq-ft in a 7.6 acres’ spread
- 8 Offices
- 14 Classrooms
- 14 Labs equipped with multiple connection points for compressed air, 120V power, 208 V power data
- 5,100 sq-ft High Bay with 20 Ton capacity for CDC machines and other large equipment

Both LSC and VIP are seriously engaged in ensuring successful outcomes, both for students and for corporate clients alike. Needless to say that by doing so we benefit exponentially our city, Houston, our state of Texas, the nation, and even the world, as it is expected that students from countries around the globe will have a chance themselves to come learn, and train, via special programs, scholarships or even the sponsorship of their employers or governments.
VIP’s strength is found in both the specialized knowledge, maturity, poise and flexibility of our professionals, and in our common and permanent commitment to excellence, ethical behavior, flexibility and budget friendliness of all solutions offered.
