Small Business Today’s Honoring Evening for Sonia Clayton
HOUSTON – An evening reception sponsored and promoted by Small Business Today (SBT) in the person of its President and Executive Editor, Steve Levine, was held on February 11th at Mr. Peeples, 1411 Bagby, in downtown Houston, for the purpose of honoring Clayton’s entrepreneurial spirit, determination, vision, and outstanding professional career, now spanning over a quarter of a century.
Although the unseasonable gelid and rainy weather was not the most propitious, many prominent business and educational leaders braved their way in to warm and grace with their presence, and fine conversation, this event intended to recognize Sonia’s leadership, efforts, discipline, tenacity and boldness in what is unequivocally an unforgiving and very competitive environment: that of the IT and Business Technology Services industry.
Special thanks are owed to Steve and Mrs. Levine, members of SBT’s staff and contributors, as well as to other kind guests. In hand for the evening were, among others, Mr. Shah Ardalan, President of Lone Star College-University Park, and a distinguished delegation from that prestigious educational institution, Sonia’s family members, as well as VIP’s ever-so-important client representatives, friends, and current or former consultants and staff.
VIP features not only the specialized knowledge, maturity, poise and flexibility of a professional force, but rather a common permanent commitment to excellence, ethical behavior, flexibility and affordability of solutions offered.
