Sonia Clayton discourses on “Entrepreneurship among Hispanics: Avenues to Creating Wealth and Opportunities” at Rice University’s Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference

HOUSTON – Sonia Clayton, President and CEO of Virtual Intelligence Providers, LLC (VIP) (www.vip-global.com) was invited to be part of a prestigious summit sponsored by Rice University’s Office of Public Affairs, the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management and MATT. The event is part of the fourth annual Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference hosted by the Texas Diversity Council, better known as The Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference. “The Hispanic/Latino Summit focused on overarching issues, such as immigration and economic opportunities, and more specific topics that relate to Hispanics in the corporate world,” said Cecilia Orellana-Rojas, co-chair of the summit and associate director of corporate diversity for AT&T.

Sonia’s forum discussed “Entrepreneurship among Hispanics: Avenues to Creating Wealth and Opportunities.” The moderator was Dr. Laura Murillo, president and CEO of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and speakers accompanying Sonia were Regina Montoya, JD., CEO of New America Alliance and Mr. Bill Treviño, executive vice president of the Treviño Group.
