An Early Valentine for the Breast Cancer Patients of MD Anderson Cancer Center (Woodlands, TX).
Breast cancer patients and survivors felt "The Love" at a "Pamper Me Night" at the MD Anderson Regional Care Center in The Woodlands. Breast Friends, the largest breast cancer support group in North Houston. In partnership with Virtual Intelligence Providers, LLC (VIP) and other donors, MD Anderson hosted the wonderful Breast Friends' evening, designed for all cancer survivors and for those who have lost love ones in the fight - said Dr. Schlembach, who is also a physician to many of the attendees.
Women affected by breast cancer had the opportunity to interact and enjoy themselves at this amazing event. The evening was full of laughter, bonding, pampering and surprises.
"We thank all participants and specially the patients, for fighting this battle. Cancer is a real fight that no one should experience. We are a sisterhood; hence we should take care of each other. However, it is outstanding when your own doctors, hospitals and the community come together to tell you that they care about you in more than one way." Sonia Clayton, Chairman of the VIP Cancer Foundation.
Sonia Clayton leads a team of numerous VIP-GLOBAL employees and friends who help with the “VIP Dress for Success” event. We provide door greeters, crowd controllers, wheelchair assistants, and servers. Other prestigious organizations also donated numerous items and services.
