Sonia Clayton discourses on “Entrepreneurship among Hispanics: Avenues to Creating Wealth and Opportunities” at Rice University’s Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference

The event is part of the fourth annual Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference hosted by the Texas Diversity Council, better known as The Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference. “The Hispanic/Latino Summit focused on overarching issues, such as immigration and economic opportunities, and more specific topics that relate to Hispanics in the corporate world,” said Cecilia Orellana-Rojas, co-chair of the summit and associate director of corporate diversity for AT&T.

The Red Rose Ball provides 25 scholarships to students who excel in academics, leadership and community service. In 2008 UHD celebrated the 27th year of this distinguished tradition.
